The Atlantic Beanie is an ode to my new home- Atlantic Canada. The subtle twists in this ribbed hat are like the ocean in my backyard. The waterway leading to Sydney is usually one of gentle breezes and calm waters.

The Atlantic Beanie is made for adults, knit up in Bulky Weight yarn such as Malabrigo (Rasta), We Are Knitters (The Wool), Wool And The Gang (Crazy Sexy Wool), Cascade (Magnum or Spuntaneous)

It can be made Slouchy or Fitted, depending on preference.

REQUIREMENTS:

• US 15 / 10.0mm circular needles (12 inches) or size to obtain gauge
• US 15/ 10.0mm double pointed needles if desired or size to obtain gauge
• Bulky Weight yarn – Malabrigo Rasta or WAK The Wool as examples
• Tapestry needle
• Scissors
• Stitch marker
• PomPom if desired
• A positive attitude
